Digital photoes-Presentation

I like this presentation because I like photoes, not only be on photoes, but also take photoes. I think this presentation is very good and well organised. Theme was very good and everything was correct. A grade from me to this group.

Presentation- Wireless Technologies

Yeah…. Wireless technologies are very popular nowadays. I don’t know person who haven’t use wireless internet and Bluetooth. Especially Bluetooth- in mobile phones there are bluetooth to change for information or get some important information.

Wireless Internet is spreading all oveк the world and everyone like it, because it is very comfortable to use it.

I like this presentation and I hope(I know) that New Information Technologies will be cooler and cooler year by year.

Crowdsourcing

When we discuss it I even can’t understand it but now not completely, but partly I understand what it is. Now I will try to explain my thoughts.

Crowdsourcing- when we take information from crowd, from places where a lot of people chatting, talking, giving advices and from there(this crowd) we can take something useful. Our experience on Wiki, on WordPress, my own experience on liveinternet I think everything is crowdsourcing. There you can chat and find friends, if you want. I find many intresting information for myself.

I don’t know exactly if my thoughts are correct, but it is my opinion and experience, which is futher will be useful.

Sourcevellience society

In my opinion sourcevellience and survillience society are definitions that are similar. In this two definitions people are being  looked by someone. Of course cameras on mobiles, photo-cameras, digital cameras- it is ok to use them when everyone know that now someone watching them or take photoes.

But I can’t understand how people can watch for another people when they don’t know. When people at home or at work they want to feel themselves safe and comfortable, but can you suppose that in your house are cameras everywhere, someone watching you and then all materials will be put in Internet! Can you suppose? I think no! You will never agree even on such experiement, because you wouldn’t feel safe.

That’s why I think if someone want to watch what people doing or how they live, they should ask a permission, even if this is stars or famous people.

Some Russian famous people, for example Dima Bilan, has show on MTV Russia “Live with Bilan”, where everyone can see how he live, what he is doing- “I think this is correct and legal.”

Web blogs

All over the world people use blogs. But what exactly does it mean ?

Web blog is a site where personal  notes of the author are situated. Basically, there are references to sites which seem to the owner of a resource, most interesting, and different people write comments to them , but not only  references, also different opinions, news, thoughts-situated on the web blog.

A little bit of history…

  The first web-blog was also the first site which has appeared on the Internet, and has been made by Tim Bernes-whether, more known, as one of founders of all Internet. Since 1992 it published the of a note about development of the World wide web and occurrences of new sites. In 1996 have already started to appear all over the world new blogs.   

In 1999 real boom about blogs. In 2003 their popularity became so great, that they have been declared by a separate genre of the network literature. Thousand and even tens thousand people hastened to share with each other the information acquired in WWW. There were more and more blogs appear, choice, what to read always rise and rise.

 The most important what we should know about webblogs is:  the best material is that you have written yourself, instead of have copied from an another’s site.

 Who create web blogs?

First blogs were done by people who already have known how to make sites. Later appeared special sites where ordinary people can easily create their own blog. Here are some of the most famous sites where you can create your blogs:

In conclusion, first of all I want to say thank to Mr Emrich who teaches us how to work and how to use web blogs! Because I even haven’t known how to create account. Thank You!

Also nowadays blogs are very popular and everyone know what it is, or heard something about it. In my opinion it  is big plus ti NIT technologies, because we can communicate with people from different countries, we can find our old friends, we can share our ideas with people, we can ask help, etc…

I really like this course and I like to write on web blogs!

 

Survelliance society

Nowadays technics is on high level and of course year by year it will be better and more new and people like it, but as you know many people use cameras, mobiles, etc… not only for entertainment, but also for intrusion to private life of people, when they don’t know that someone photo them!

I undestand cameras that situated in big shops, because they need to see all people and if someone want to stole something they can stop them! Now let’s compare with some situations:

1) When paparazzi intrude into private life of famous people, for them it doesn’t matter that famous people are ordinary people and they want to be along with their friends or children, but paparazzi do everything to have “Hot photoes or hot files” and put it to internet, and at that time when stars will do that they do every time and they even don’t know that they are being watched by someone. Only later from “Yellow press” and from Internet they will know about what they have done and that paparazzi have a lot of photoes! In my opinion it is awful! Private life should be private life!

2) Nowadays days it become very popular(I have seen about it on TV) to put cameras in toilets, taxi, in houses and them put files into internet! I know it sounds disgusting but it is true! And nobody can be sure that know they are not watching by someone!

3) Now in Internet there are some sites where you can see where you, your friends, parents are now! And again it is survellience because may be this person now do something important but we won’t understand him and later, in the evening,  we will ask him or them: “What you have done there or with whom you were there” and they will ask you how you know that I was there and you will explain and then there will be a lot of questions and one of them, the most important: “How can you intrude to my life without my permission!” And for you there will be nothing to say.

In conclusion I want to say that in every Democratic country there should be a law, in which it will be prohibitted to photo or to use cameras when they don’t know about it!

Of course it is my opinion about survelliance society and I think people who do such thing about I have written about, they should be kept into prison….

Blogging as a tool of communication

 As I have written earlier blogging for me is best tool for communication and for meeting new people, chatting, knowing something new.

Also blogging is popular all over the world now and every person who know how to with internet knows that.

For some people who are shy blogs are tool for communication. They can express their opinion openly and introduce with pepole whom they like! Big plus of blogs!

 Few years ago it wasn’t popular and people use Internet only for searching information! Of course in Internet were forums and chats, but there on forums can chat people from one country who knows language or something else!

Blogs are international and everyone who knows English and communicate with people from other countries! And it is great!

My first experience on Wiki’s

It was my first experience and for me it was really intresting, something new to discover, to do some different job, to write not only for myself, but for larger audience, also maybe people wil know something important for themselves and in my opinion it was great experience.

But why it was intresting?

For me it was intresting because I like to do something new, always doing something to amaze people…but of course site is only on his first step to success!

Also I have very wonderful group with whom I work and it is really important!

And the last one, we can communicate wuth larger amount of people and share our ideas!

I think it is great!!!

Freedom of the Press

Nowadays all over the world people are talking about freedom of the press and the think that journalist should write truth and to express their opinion, BUT let disscuss does freedom of the press really exist?

According to the survey of Freedom house in 2006: 194 countries were participated in the survey. To be honest results are  shocking. Here are they: Free-17%; Partly Free- 40%; Not free- 43%.  And we are talking about freedom of the press! How we can talk about freedom of the press with such results….

Who control journalism and journalists and why countries are not free? First of all journalism, in such countries as Tadjikistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgistan(all they are not free), controlled by government and they are not allowed to write anything bad about government. In my opinion it is the most important problem why in this countries, there are no press freedom. 

I will tell you about one case that happened in Almaty 2 months ago: famous journalist in Almaty had written something about president in his article(I don’tknow exactly what), several days after the newspaper was published he was imprisoned  and week later he got a verdict 3 years imprisoned. Judge said he took such verdict because journalist had offended our president! Nobody ask him what he keep in mind when he was writing his article, maybe he didn’t want to offend the president, but nowbody listened to him! But it is not the most cruel what government can do.

All over the world a lot of journalists are killed! This is the main problem that exist all over the world. For example in Russia last year more than 25 journalists were killed. The most famous murders: Anna Politkovskaya, who worked on the project about Chechnya; Il’ya Zimin who worked on Ntv channel, on his project: Profession Reporter, where he and another journalists tell people about government, about what happened all over the world, they were telling people truth. Now 0n Ntv channel this programm exist, but how many forces they put on in order this programm exist!

I don’t want to write a lot about murders of journalists because everyone know about it! I want to write that we should fight for press freedom and we should fight for   Let’s try to change this world together and make it better!
